Why Do We Need Your Support?
Every penny is spent on diagnostic and surgical equipment
or in some way to help those with liver cancer, apart from administration costs which are low
Some Of The Ways In Which Those With Liver Cancer Have Been Helped By The Appeal
- A choice of treatment options to include surgery using the CUSA for removal of tumours or the RITA using radio frequency ablation for inoperable tumours
- Patients with liver cancer, who at the time of diagnosis had less that a year to live, are now reaching the 5-year survival rate following surgery
- Awareness of possible cure of secondary liver cancer. The Appeal has published ‘A Patient's Guide' to the treatment options and sent it to 150 GP surgeries and hospital clinics
- Looking to the future, all the data collected during liver surgery is being compiled for research
Making a donation to the LCSA
To help people make a donation to The Liver Cancer Surgery Appeal, we have produced a number of forms. These can be found below and each form is in Microsoft Word format.
The ‘basic donation' form allows you to make a single donation
The ‘gift aid declaration' form should be filled in and , together with a cheque, sent to the LCSA. As a registered charity the LCSA will be able to reclaim the tax on all donations from UK taxpayers

LCSA 100+ CLUB
The Club was started in 2008. Apart from realising a regular income for the Appeal, it is a way of keeping in touch with our supporters.
- Membership is £24 per annum for each ‘chance' and it is possible to purchase more than one. Each ‘chance' is represented by a number
- There will be four prize draws a year, each with three cash prizes
- Membership is restricted to those over 16 years of age
If you wish to join the LCSA 100+ Club, please apply to The Appeal Organiser, The Old Farm House, Epsom Road, Merrow, Surrey GU4 7AB for a standing order mandate or send a cheque to this address.
JUSTGIVING
The LCSA has a charity account with Justgiving which enables us and our supporters to raise money on line, mostly through on-line fundraising pages. Last year two marathon runners designed a fundraising page for the Royal Parks Half Marathon and invited family and friends to sponsor them with the result of raising almost £3000 for the LCSA. Another supporter taking part in the Mont Blanc Trek donated over £1000 through his online fundraising page.
Anyone taking part in an event to raise funds for the Appeal is eligible for the LCSA t-shirt
Listed below are three ways to donate:
www.justgiving.com/lcsa/donate is our dedicated donation service
www.justgiving.com/lcsa/raisemoney is our fundraising area
www.justgiving.com/lcsa/remember is our own memoriam area
