Coping with Cancer
A cancer diagnosis and the realisation of the necessary treatment has an affect
on you and everyone who cares for you. It is one of life’s major challenges.
Patients respond with a whole range of emotions such as shock, fear, anger
and anxiety. Each adjusts in their own way and in their own time. At times
you may need emotional support even though you appear to be coping well. There
are several sources but you might benefit most by hearing about how other
patients cope and their experiences.
